@SweetLyns using that much water is a lot cheaper than using electricity

how it separates the humidity from the air?

@cooleradocorp Phoenix has low Humidity most of the year. What about the rest of AZ during the Monsoons when humidity is high? What about the hard water deposits, will they load up the plastic until they don’t work? What is the average cost of a system for a 2500 sq ft house? You can get a swamp cooler for $700. You can get a 3 ton 16 SEER AC for $1500. Whats the price on these units ballpark. When comparing energy usage, why not compare against swamp cooler instead of A/C?

If I’m thinking correctly this would be better for an aired climate verses a more humid costal climate?

@SweetLyns people lacking water in africa or austrailia has nothing to do with water usage here where we have too mutch. however we should be using the mississipi river & the great lakes to recharge the ogalala aquifer, farming is the bigget user of water in this nation

@starletto – It would have to have an automated switch over to grid power once the computer knows that the fan speed is to slow to keep the ambient temps at the desired levels. It’s actually not a bad idea fitting additional panels for the A/C unit even if you have a larger 3kW+ Solar PV grid system…

@SweetLyns – This product is net water neutral – which means, it doesn’t use anymore water than a traditional ac system would use. To create electricity (for anything) water is used at the power plant. Water creates electricity. Traditional ac units use around 6,000 watts of power, where a Coolerado unit only uses around 600 watts. Thus, it takes a lot more water at the power plant level to power a traditional ac system than it would a Coolerado unit.

u maybe saving electricity but u r using more water…..it like solving one problem and creating another……..is there anyway u can reduce the amount of water this cooling system uses???

I love this idea – but… Wasting water – is that environmentally friendly? Especially with how expensive water has become in many of our regions? It is possibly in about half of our states to spend more on water than if you just stayed with a high SEER heat pump to start out with. I think you guys are on a great track, and if you removed the continuous flow of water portion of this unit you would have a great selling item.
